Iziko Museums of South Africa

Iziko Museums of South Africa operates 11 national museums in Cape Town.  They are one of the premiere cultural institutions in South Africa. 27 BOXES is a cutting-edge lifestyle centre based in the heart of Melville, Johannesburg. The Karoo Project

Rootspring is a South African non-profit record label deeply dedicated to supporting local music. Under the directorship of Yusuf Ganief, the label actively creates and seeks out performance and training opportunities for both emerging and established artists. Their latest extraordinary venture is The Karoo Project, which is previewed as part of this year’s virtual BASA Awards ceremony,  and will premiere at the Klein Karoo National Arts Festival.

Rootspring

With monthly hybrid live and online performances showcasing up to 10 artists, Rootspring NPC is developing local artists and embracing the online global community through conscious art and music. Their video series showcases artists in unique locations and settings with high-quality, live audio and video recordings. Their mentorship programme is a training series for emerging and established artists aimed at equipping them in an era of online concerts and social media marketing. All participants receive training in staging, basic sound, basic photography, basic social media skills, media and marketing. This is done in partnership with established arts training and workshop facilitators, as well as iconic artists providing master classes.
